My significant other and I were looking forward to a peaceful evening eating steaks after a long week of hiking. We were seated within a foot next to a loud family and we couldn't even hear our own conversation. There were plenty of other seats within the restaurant that wee empty. We both ordered steaks and they weren't cooked as we had requested. The tops were burned badly. It seems like a good restaurant with the staff and service being nice, but the food and atmosphere needs work!
It's a beautiful restaurant with leather seats and nice decorations. Had some wine, appetizers were great, very tasty. My boyfriends steak was ordered rare, to me it looked medium. Very dry for aged meat. I ordered halibut which looked and was described properly but there was something missing in this meal, not as tasty as it looked. Overall nice restaurant, great appetizers but could use work on entrees.
Food was good. I had the bison burger. My friend had the guacamole burger and a moose drool brown ale. Waiter wasn't very energetic/personable/attentive. There are only 15 tables and a bar here. You may have to stop the servers if you need a refill. Prices were reasonable. Atmosphere was nice, what you'd expect from a sports grill. May not be ready to accommodate a large group without a reservation or reasonable wait time.
My friends and I came here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. The stuffed chicken and vegetable selection were divine. They were both rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. Jamie, our server, was patient and personable. All four of us recommend eating here while in Zion.
We had just finished part of a long Harley trip and were excited for a great dinner. The place was a little busy so we sat at the bar. My wife ordered wine and I wanted a beer on tap but they only had one since they ran out. The staff was great and we felt very well taken care of except for the manager Deric. He was so negative to the employees right in front of us that it made us feel so uncomfortable. His lack of people skills made for a terrible experience. The employees tried to work around his bad attitude but it would just upset them more as they were trying to make it a fun environment. Deric was honestly a jerk as a manager of such a high class restaurant. My steak came out very well as I ordered medium well. I had already had my sides and was going to top it off with a great steak. His lack of customer service as I complained about the steak was no apologies but yes it's over cooked. I had to ask what could be done to make this correct as I was paying a large amount for my dinner. He was very rude and makes me not even want to come back again. We didn't feel like we were important as customers.
