It's hard to find a restaurant in tourist towns that has really delicious food for reasonable prices, but Oscar's blew us away. The burger I ordered was amazing. The beef was perfectly grilled, and my wife's tacos were equally tasty. Everything was fresh and hot and the staff was friendly and efficient. Couldn't have asked for a better meal after a fun day in Zion National Park!
The only thing good about this place was the wonderful wait staff, chips and salsa with guacamole. They were nice to cater to gluten free needs but the food was not anything to write home about. The Enchiladas were very unexpected with almost raw bell peppers and onions in it. The rack of ribs was smothered in BBQ sauce, tasty but way too much sauce. We would never come here again.
Did you just finish a long hike in Zion? Looking for a place to eat with reasonable prices, large portions, patio seating, and great service? Yes. Go to Oscar's. Go now and order nachos!! Best meal I've had in Utah, can't recommend it enough, surprising since it's smack in the middle of a tourist town.
My friends & I stopped here after our long backpacking hike at the West Rim. We were greeted as soon as we arrive by, Mr. Grant. He was such a polite and very friendly server. He knew right of the batch that we were hikers and asked us about our experience. Turns our some rocks that we found in the wilderness that look like your own private theater were placed there by Mr, Grant & his friend 20 years ago. We were so happy to know the story behind those rocks. Unfortunately, hi's friend past away while climbing. Thank you, Oscar's for the great food and for the awesome people who run your business.
Have a variety of things on their menu. Had the Avocado Chip Burger. I was kind of skeptical about it at first because of the ingredients... by it will not disappoint! Everything in it was fresh and the corn chips inside of it were delicious. The fries were delicious. HUGE portions. Gets packed quick, but it’s worth the 15- 20 minute wait for 2 people. Have pretty decent service too!
Be warned, portion sizes are very generous. Also fills up in the evening.
