Big RV park in Springdale. Very convenient to Zion Nat. Park. Close enough to walk to park entrance , dinner, coffee, shopping or you can ride the shuttle bus at the street. Located along the Virgin River and beneath the huge Mts. Great views!
Don’t get me wrong, this place is nice and it is clean, which I appreciate. My review is strictly on the bases of your bizarre showering system. The only thing I wanted after a long day of hiking at Zion was a shower. Upon checking in we were given one token per person for the shower. If you want more minutes you have to buy tokens (like an arcade, only not fun). One token gets you a six minute shower. Knowing this going into it, I had my game plan set up and was showering like I was ‘The Flash’. Midway through and all sudsy & the water shut off. As a female, It’s really hard to scrub yourself, shave, wash your hair and face, and rinse off in six minutes. (And I’m not even high maintenance, I’m a camper/hiker for Pete’s sake) I’ve already payed you $55 for one night (which to date is the most expensive campground yet) the last thing I want is to be charged for a shower and timed. Glad I was able to wash my left butt cheek but what about the rest of my body?! Good grief, give us longer than six minutes! I felt like I was back in middle school at camp. Yikes. I have to say the bathrooms were clean though, but I guess they would be if campers aren’t able to fully use them.
Showers, dish washing station outside with hot water, and clean restrooms. I'd stay here again.
Wonderful Views and some sites back right up to the Virgin River! Bathrooms clean and WiFi strong but laundry room can crowd up quick. Would definitely stay again!
Location is perfect, showers were nice. So this is not a luxury campground, the spots are close together and there is nothing remotely "pretty" about the site EXCEPT if you look up! The Canyon is right there! Fact is, no one comes that close to Zion to hang out at their campsite so this place is perfect. I think it is the closest lodging to Zion so you can leave your car at your site and either catch a shuttle to the park or just as easy walk the few blocks to the entrance (allows you to get an early start before the street shuttles start at 7 because the park shuttles start at 6 so you beat the crowds!) The showers were very spacious. The restrooms were fine but it was difficult to do your hair or anything with your face or teeth because there are NO HOOKS (the showers have no mirrors but that would be another option to just complete getting ready in the shower stall)! If no one was using a toilet stall I just used the hook in there but if the stalls were busy we were all balancing our hygiene bags under our arms or between our knees- because no one wants to put it on the floor! It was fairly well cared for considering the number of people in the park and there was enough showers and toilets scattered throughout the park. It ends up being fairly quiet because most people are there for Zion not a "camping" experience. So by 10pm it was usually pretty quiet, I would book here again next time I come to Zion based on price and most importantly convenience!
Only stayed for one night, but had no complaints. Free RV dump station was great, and the bathrooms/showers were nice and clean. I know some complain that you get one shower per day, per person and they're limited to 6 minutes with the token, but it was more than enough time to get clean for me. The fact that it's super close to Zion was great too!
