Excellent shuttle services, approx. every 5 mins a new shuttle arrives to get around in the park. Park is -of course- very nice!
Springdale small town on edge of national park has multiple hotels, places to eat and tourist shopping, Zion is beautiful and depending on time of visit may have to ride buses going through park to see sites. Check web site for information
Just know this is basically a gift shop with free hiking advice. If you're like me and try to support the actual national parks when you visit them, limit your time in Springdale and don't trust the signage.
Shop attendee was very nice, polite, and answered all kinds of questions. I asked where to go for Zion National Park parking and entry. He directed me to the Zion National Park Visitor Center. This is not the Zion National Park Visitor Center; this is the Springdale visitor center. Google maps had trouble with this. This visitor center has lots of cool souvenirs, gear, maps, and information though. Worth a stop on your way into the park if coming this way.
Great addition for people visiting this amazing town! Love the original logos and images they've created for their apparel. So cool. Plus the Polaris Slingshot for rent in the parking lot is awesome! Water filling station inside, games, snacks, maps, anything you'd need for your Zion trip. Love this place!
I gave three stars because the guys who work here are helpful. However the entire town of Springdale has some misleading signage/ policies I'm not a fan of. For example, we weren't even sure that this wasn't the actual park visitor center until we got inside and saw all the touristy gifts. For the record, it isn't the real one. It's true it's outside the park but we weren't sure. Also there are permanent signs in town that say 'zion parking full, park here'. Just to encourage you to spend time in town, and spend money.
