Well-equipped outdoors store. Very reasonable rental rates on gear for trudging up The Narrows. Their Narrows rental gear is first rate.
Convenient location and average pricing for the area. Equipment was excellent but the service was very lacking. Equipment rental fitting guy seemed like he was stoned both times we met him.
I would highly recommend coming here to get shoes and socks to wear while hiking the narrows. The hike is entirely in water and the special shoes and socks will keep your feet comfortable. For $24 you get shoes, socks, and a hiking stick.
Really good people there. I know they get asked the same questions everyday and I'm sure that gets tiring. But they took the time to answer our questions professionally and we're also friendly and helpful.
The Zion Outfitters were great! Our group hiked the narrows from the top down in one day and the shoes and neoprene socks combo was perfect. Jim and all his staff are super helpful and knowledgeable. Will be going back for my next narrows adventure!
