Beautiful views around the Museum and a nice clean bathroom. However, the presentations and especially the 30 minute video is very dated and boring to watch. The Museum is also very small which is disappointing for such a jewel of a park.

Photographers: This is not a review of the museum but rather a review of the views from behind the museum!! This is a great sunrise location with views of the Tower of the Virgin, West Temple, Sundial and Altar of Sacrifice. The goal is to catch the morning red color as the sun strikes the rock wall high above. It happens quick so be ready. I recommend visiting the location the day before to recon. The visit will help you decide where to stand which lens you might want to use. If you are lucky like I was, you might even catch a full Fall moonset behind and the colorful sunrise color in front at the same time! Steve J. Giardini Photography

This is our alternate parking spot to hop on the bus.

Interesting and a very good movie about Zion NP...

Cool little Museum explaining the historical significance of Zion Canyon. It's a short walk from the South Campground and Watchman Campgrounds. There is also a shuttle stop here, which if you want to avoid the crowds at the visitor center, I would recommend walking up the trail to jump on here. There's also a convenient water filling station, bathrooms and a small gift shop with a very pleasant staff.
